The Venues Section

The Venues section is one of the two Plus-only Library sections (the other is Transitions). Open it from the Library popover's header — see The Library Sections for the section switcher.

The section lists the venues you've added. For the broader venue concept and how it fits with performance history, see New Concepts in Plus — Venue.

Activating a venue

To start recording performance history against a specific venue, activate it from the Venues section. Only one venue is active at a time; activating a different venue switches the active venue.

When a venue is active:

  • The venue name appears on the right side of the player's status line, alongside the telemetry indicator.
  • Every set-list run that ends with a recording is filed under this venue in the Performances history.
  • If a set list is also active, the status line additionally shows a coverage hint indicating how many transitions in the active set list have a fusor wired up.

With no active venue, no history is recorded — which is what you want during prep, practice, or one-off run-throughs that shouldn't enter the history.

The status-line venue area is read-only. Clicking it does not open the Venues section or surface a menu — to switch venues, open the Library popover and switch to the Venues section explicitly.
