Fusor Studio
Engineered Transition Automation for DJs
Automate EQ, stems, deck levels, and FX across a transition while keeping the timing in your hands.
Drive transition progress manually, or set a bar count for full automation.
01
Structured Parameter Automation
Fusor automates EQ, stems, deck levels, and FX as a transition progresses.
The crossfader (or a control of your choosing) drives transition progress. You move it, the player reads your position and the Fusor modulates the parameters. Automation can run on its own when you want, but it never takes the crossfader away from you.
- Crossfader-first: automation never displaces manual control
- Every parameter value comes from one source: how far along the transition is
- Automate the whole transition, or just the parts you want
02
Fusors: Progress-Driven Automation
A Fusor defines what gets automated and how each parameter changes as the transition moves.
You author automation against roles — incoming and outgoing — not specific decks. Fusor figures out which is which when you start.
- You can see every automated parameter and its curve in the player
- Enable or disable control groups prior to running
- Fusors are reusable across different transitions
The Fusor holds the automation. Progress — whether you or the clock is driving — triggers it.
03
Fusor Studio: Build Your Automation
Fusor Studio is where you build Fusors. Parameters are grouped into domains — EQ, stems, levels, FX — each editable on its own.

Parameters are shaped using control points placed along the transition timeline
You set a start value and an end value. The segment between them defines the shape. Add more control points for complex curves.
Every parameter is visible. Nothing is hidden or inferred.
04
Actions: Event-Driven Automation
An Action is a short sequence of MIDI commands that runs once when you trigger it. Where a Fusor responds to transition progress, an Action responds to a single command.
You can insert explicit delays between commands, so one press reconfigures your DJ app in a defined order with the timing your gear needs to settle. A single mapped MIDI key cannot do that.
- Fire from a pad, a controller key, or a Fusor's pre-run queue
- Group eight into a Pack to drive Pad Mode
- Actions are saved as user-editable text files
Fusors shape the transition. Actions reconfigure the system around it.
Optional Add-On
Fusor Plus: A Library for Tracks, Transitions, and Sets
A catalog of complete transitions, with venue-aware history.
Fusor Plus adds a database to Fusor Studio. Tracks and the transitions between them are grouped into crates. Filter and sort these records to create set lists and track performance history by venue.
A transition is a first-class record. Load one into the Player and the full specification comes with it:
- Outgoing and incoming tracks
- A fusor (the automation)
- Bar count and target BPM
- Optional tempo ramp setting
Bars and BPM give the run time, shown in the player when running in auto mode.
A set list isn't just a list of tracks, it's a list of tracks and the transitions between them. Use transitions to build set lists ahead of time, or to chart a path forward while performing live.
Fusor Studio authors and runs automation. Plus authors and runs complete transitions.
Included with the Fusor Library Add-On license.
Structure the Transition. Keep the Control.
Fusor Studio combines progress-driven automation, visual authoring, and optional transition planning.
Use it to run complete transitions, or to support the mix by automating selected parameters.
You control the progress. Fusor runs the automation.
